The construction company was formed in 1942 between two brothers Ernie & William.
They developed much of the Portsmouth area Copnor and Highbury in particular. Their numerous projects included the building of the Masonic Hall and the plastering of the Kings Theatre and they became a well respected building company in the city of Portsmouth.
The brothers parted with two companies being formed, as their own sons had developed an interest in the construction industry.
William George Wilson was to become WG Wilson & Sons, formed in 1962. Four generations have passed and that company is still trading today and maintaining the high level of reliability and quality of workmanship for which it was originally renowned.
All works are covered including new housing, large or small domestic extensions, small contracts including kitchens & bathrooms, loft conversions and ground works.
Our customer base has grown extensively and our reliability ensures that and we are very frequentley called in for additional contracts.
